Other Activities at the Parkside Community Centre

There is a wide range of activities run by outside individuals and organisations that hire space at the community centre.

Excellent Tuition

Personalised result orientated support for english, mathematics and science by qualified, experienced teachers.

East London Mugendo Academy of Fighting Arts

Classes: Thursday 6.30pm - 7.30pm

for ages 5+

The Mugendo 'Unlimited Way' is a martial art which is a mixture of different fighting styles allowing you to adapt in any given situation using minimum movemnt conflicting maximum damage. This fighting art is used only in self defence, it uses the whole body as a weapon, both standing and on the ground using techniques for instance (Kicking, Punching, Wrestling, Grappling, etc.) They are practised for a variety of reasons including:
