As a parent or carer of a child, you can find out if you are entitled to a free childcare place for your two year old by creating an account on the online portal for the borough of Redbridge. To create an account you will need to log in at www.parentportal.redbridge.gov.uk
Children who are already 3 years of age will receive a free child care place the term after their third birthday. There is more information on the parent portal website. When leaving the playgroup, 4 weeks’ notice is required or fees paid in lieu.
It is a requirement of the playgroup that a parent or carer must become a member of the Parkside Community Association and joining fee is only £1 per year.
You may be eligible if you meet one of the following criteria: Universal Credit, Income Support, Income Based Jobseekers Allowance, Income Related Employment and Support Allowance (if you are unable to work due to illness or disability). The guaranteed element of State Pension Child Tax Credit and your household income (as assessed by HMRC) of less than £16,190 per year. Support Under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999. Working Tax Credit with a household income (As assessed by HMRC) of less than £16,190 per year, Or your child receives Disability Living Allowance , Has a current statement of special educational need or an Education, Health and Care plan, Is looked after by the local authority Or has left care through special guardianship or an adoption or residence order
